As a Procurement and Logistics Officer at NexGen Cloud, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement and logistics operations of the company. Your responsibilities will be instrumental in maintaining a seamless supply chain and facilitating the delivery of our products to clients globally.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for the purchase of GPUs and related hardware.
- Assess and evaluate supplier performance, pricing, and quality to ensure the best value for the company.
- Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to manage budgets and control costs.
- Coordinate the transportation and delivery of products to customers worldwide.
- Manage inventory and stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Work closely with shipping partners to optimize logistics and minimize shipping costs.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the received products meet our standards.
- Handle returns or exchanges with suppliers in case of defective products.
Continuously look for ways to improve quality and efficiency in the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations related to procurement and logistics.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and logistics, preferably in the tech industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of supply chain management software and tools.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish.
