Position Summary:
We're looking for a Sales Executive — someone who’s not just ready to execute, but excited to build. You’ll be among the first hires on the commercial team, with a mandate to create the processes, playbooks, and momentum that power our early-stage growth.
You’ll work directly with the founders and product team to craft our GTM strategy, engage high-value prospects, and shape how AI is adopted across legal and financial services. This is a unique opportunity to help define and scale the go-to-market function for cutting-edge AI products with real impact in the market.
What You’ll Own & Build
Strategic Prospecting & Market Discovery
- Own outbound prospecting across legal and financial verticals, using a data-driven and experimental approach to outreach.
- Develop multi-channel outreach strategies (email, cold calls, LinkedIn) to initiate and nurture sales conversations with high-level decision-makers.
- Represent NexGen Cloud at select industry events and bring our mission to life with clarity and confidence.
Pipeline Architecture & Early Sales Motion
- Define and refine the early-stage sales pipeline: from lead qualification to discovery and demo handoff.
- Build structured workflows for tracking, follow-up, and conversion using our CRM and sales stack.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to co-create a repeatable, scalable outbound process — you’re not just running plays, you’re writing the playbook.
Consultative Engagement & Solution Discovery
- Run thoughtful discovery calls that uncover true business pain points and innovation appetite.
- Translate complex AI capabilities into business-relevant benefits tailored to regulated industry contexts.
- Deliver crisp, compelling demos that spark imagination and trust — acting as the bridge between product potential and buyer value.
Feedback Loops & Cross-Team Influence
- Be the eyes and ears of the market — synthesize insights for product and marketing teams to influence roadmap and messaging.
- Help define our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), refine messaging, and evolve our value proposition with evidence from the field.
What We’re Looking For:
- You have 3–5 years’ experience in a consultative, outbound sales or GTM role — preferably a mix of large-scale tech and startup environments.
- Proven track record in consultative sales roles
- You've helped define sales processes or built them yourself — and you're hungry to do it again.
- You’re deeply curious about AI, not just as a buzzword, but as a toolkit for real transformation. Ideally, someone active in tech communities, events or industry networks.
- Experience in legal or finance verticals is a strong plus.
- Must come from a company where technology drives the business—delivering outcomes, not just products.
- You bring structured thinking, emotional intelligence and storytelling skills to every conversation.
- You're resilient, proactive and driven by the thrill of creation — not afraid of cold starts.
- Excellent communicator (written, verbal, visual) — able to breakdown complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives using real-world examples
